I purchased a new Traverse with conversion from AtConversions & have had nothing but problems with the conversion. The gull wing door was installed terribly, door gets stuck open/shut, passenger side door hard to open from inside due to the installation of the gull wind door. Lots of rust, the seals are all messed up or broken in places etc. The drivers transfer seat hardware is falling apart and very unstable, screws are all falling out & it's very shaky. The Traverse was delivered in Feb 2023 and only been able to use it handful of times. Seat to dangerous to drive in and don't trust the gull wing door and ramp to work especially while I'm alone , which is a lot. Haven't been able to drive it. Brought it to multiple places & they are not able to fix. The gull wing door is causing frame damage. Was told it was installed wrong & has major problems. I bought this vehicle brand new and can't even use it. Contacted company multiple times, have asked for return and refund but falling on deaf ears. Service tech told me it's in CEO/Owners hands now but he won't even answer my messages.
Had nothing but trouble with this conversion since the day we picked our vehicle up. Ramp got stuck on the ground numerous times. Door would get stuck open or, the last straw, stuck closed. Transmission problems from the 2nd day. If you are looking for a conversion, run far and fast to another company.
I worked on getting this vehicle for my husband, who has MS. Colt, the representative from ATC worked with me every step of the way, and we were able to purchase and get the vehicle without my husband's knowledge. We wanted it to be a surprise, and it really was! I wouldn't have been able to do it without their help. We are enjoying the truck very much! It has made my life so much easier because of the fact that my husband, Don, does not walk well anymore. Thank you ATC for everything!
Rust Bucket!!!! I love the concept of my ATC truck but the workmanship is shoddy and the company could care less. Not even 18 months old and I had to put an additional $4,500 into it to repair and re-protect the ATC installed surfaces due to significant rust damage. Contacted ATC and they said it wasn’t their problem as rust isn’t covered in the warranty. Fair warning to all potential customers: there is a reason that part is in bold font in the warranty. ATC is fully aware that their product will rust and they don’t care!!!!!!
Talking to Destry at ATC was and is a pleasure. Destry is very knowledgeable about getting you the right vehicle for your disability, working out of the North Carolina office and the Indiana plant was very helpful for my wife and I, we are enjoying our truck, lisa is getting to go out more often than she did before. Again Thank You for your service. You guys are top notch in this business. Donald & Lisa Ethredge.
I’ve had my ATC conversion truck now for a few months. It’s an all Black murdered out Chevy Trail Boss and it turns heads even before I open the gull wing door. Friends and family are so impressed, I’m constantly demonstrating how it works and cool it is. Strangers always want to take pictures and are asking questions about about it.More importantly , I’m a truck guy, I’ve damaged vans trying to get to my deer stand I just needed some off-road capabilities so I could get back to the life I lived before my injury. My lift has operated perfectly without the constant hang-up from other conversions and given me a huge bonus to the freedom of driving. I not only drive, I drive a beast truck that goes anywhere and can deliver me there in my wheelchair.
I just purchased my second ATC vehicle. I have truly enjoyed this conversion, and working with the staff at ATC has been seamless. I would definitely recommend their product as an alternative to a minivan. Their innovative design is rugged and withstood the rigors of daily abuse.
I live in West Chester, OH north of Cincinnati and It's been a little over 2 weeks since we received my brother Buddy's (US Army Vet) truck from ATC. There are no more sore backs or sore underarms from transferring him from chair to car seat. The staff in Raleig, NC was very attentive and helpful from day 1. Although all of their vehicles can be delivered to your place of residence if requested, I decided to travel there to pick up the vehicle myself since I have relatives in NC. If you are unable to travel, I recommend utilizing their delivery offer to anywhere in the US.Our next vehicle will definitely come from ATC. Thank you for putting a smile back on my brother's face. He loves his new truck.
I drive a 2017 Silverado 2500 with the ATC conversion and absolutely love it. I've had other adapted vehicles, one being a mini van, and the other being a truck converted by another company. Neither one were anything like driving an ATC. In the ATC I don't have to worry about dragging like I did in the mini van. The truck has the ground clearance I need and a fast and reliable lift that always works. Not only is it a great experience to drive this truck and have my Independence, it's also pretty cool to turn heads when others are amazed at how my lift works. I never plan to drive anything but an ATC.
I have been in a wheelchair accommodated mini van for the past 3 years. However, I am a "truck guy" at heart. I noticed an ATC truck while on a deer hunt last year and began researching where to find this vehicle. I was contacted by Destry Henson of AT Conversions. Destry went above and beyond to insure that I got the exact truck that I wanted. I changed my mind several times on styles and colors, but he remained patient and obtained everything I wanted in my truck. Upon picking up the truck, he made sure that I was 100% comfortable sitting in and driving the truck before we left, as we had an 1,100 mile drive home. In fact, the entire organization worked together to ensure our complete satisfaction. I could not be more pleased with my truck and the freedom that it allows me and I would be happy to show my truck to anyone interested or answer any questions. I highly recommend Destry Henson and this organization! Lastly, I would like to give Praise and Glory to Almighty God, who has truly enriched and blessed me with these kinds of opportunities.
I am one very satisfied customer! Destry and everyone behind the scenes made buying my first mobility vehicle so easy! I love how simple, fast, and easy the loading and unloading is; I can zip in and out in no time and do it all by myself! Thank you all for helping me to get my independence back!
Worth while working with company. The process was smooth with at conversion finding me a vehicle because local companies having to go out over 500miles to find a vehicle that works for me.They streamlined lined the process and I had my truck within 40 days. The staff was professional especially Jason Cassel. Thank you for your hard work. 100 % ecstatic with the outcome. Kudos to the adaptation team.
Jason did a phenomenal job! He was able to answer all my questions quickly and even created of short video to explain some of the features. I could not have been more happy with the salesman and you put up with my multiple questions. He promised he would call every Monday and he fulfilled at 100% In order to update the status of my truck.
Destry thank you for making this happen! From the very first time that we spoke, you were informative, thoughtful, and always accessible. This is my second truck and I could not be happier. You and your team went above and beyond expectations to make sure I was comfortably fit in my new vehicle. I drove down from New Jersey, spent the entire day (and some of the night), while you all made sure everything was perfect for me to drive off of your showroom floor. I would encourage anyone looking to purchase a handicap accessible vehicle to contact Destry and AT Conversions. I've been injured for 34 years, and have driven many vehicles from corvettes to conversions vans. By far, the conversion in my Silverado garners more looks than if I were driving a Ferrari! I can't thank you enough!
